Pet General Surgery
Our staff will provide you with pre-operative instructions regarding food/water or any medications that should or should not be given prior to the surgery. We offer pre-anesthetic blood panels that can be performed on the morning of your pet’s surgery. This bloodwork allows us to better evaluate the health of your pet and assists us in tailoring the procedure to your pet’s specific needs.
Our staff will call you when your pet’s surgery is completed, and they are in recovery. They will discuss post-operative instructions and care as well as provide you with a time that your pet will go home. You will receive discharge directions and any necessary medications when you arrive to pick up your pet. It is very important to follow all post-operative directions, including any exercise restrictions, as failure to do so can result in post-surgical complications for your pet.
